Move aside gurls on te selfie tag PREZLEEK’S COMING THROUGH.

The rain had been misting down for several days now, giving the town of Taverley a foggy appearance that made everyone feel sleep. Zarafinn, however, was out at the market, taking her time to check all the produce, seemingly undeterred by the water droplets that were gathering in her wavy hair. The droplets ran down her face and dripped off the end of her nose.

NY was walking down the market street, lugging a load of logs piled up to the brim of her nose. She had been chopping wood all day, for her cash stack got extremely low after purchasing some fine armor she’d been saving up for. Her usual money making methods were slow, for she never looked for any alternatives outside of woodcutting or fletching.

Not paying attention to where she was going, she bonked into a slightly shorter person, causing all the logs to topple over the girl, then some rolling down the slightly steap hill.

nychannelrs:

NYChannel blinked twice in confusion. What did that girl just say to her? What language was that? Elven? With a shrug, she brushed it off and started picking up her logs that were now scattered through out the market area. NY got some irritated looks from the salesmen. Especially the one that the teenager was standing in front of. With an apologetic smile she picked up her last log and power walked away.

Suddenly, the woodcutter stopped, realizing that there were a few logs that rolled the way she was walking. She looked around for a few seconds before hearing another shriek and thud.

Feeling peeved, Zarafinn walked back through the market, her arms full of the run away logs that had escaped the woodcutter and had been bearing down menacingly upon the townspeople.

Finding the logs owner, Zarafinn sighed as she held them out for her. She informed the woman (in Infernal) that she should be more careful, that she really could have hurt someone. Badly. What if a log had hit a child?

Ny gave an apologetic smile. She thanked her and grabbed the extra run away logs from the girl. She noted that the teen definatly wasn’t speaking eleven. Maybe it was something from the eastern lands? NY was curious to what it was, but knew she couldn’t ask. The girl in zarosian looking robes obviously didn’t know the common toung.

"I’m sorry again." Ny said slowly before looked down at the teenager’s muddy robes. Felling badly, and being sure to keep all of the logs from rolling out of her arm, she took out a small-ish towel from her inventory.

“You dry off?” She asked, being sure to speak slowly, and putting some emphasis on the ‘you’ and the ‘dry’ hoping the foreigner at least knew a few words of her language.

Offering the towel was enough to make herself understood, so why was the woman talking like that? What, did she think Zarafinn was stupid?

The Loarnic girl took the towel and used it to wipe down her clothing before handing it back. The towel was a nice gesture, she supposed, but she was a little irritated with the slow baby talk.

After letting the teen dry off, with a thank you, she took back the cloth. Reaching to put it back in her inventory, the top of the log pile started to topple over before NY quickly having to rebalance it, but dropping the towel in the process.

She looked down at the towel, then back up at the log pile. “Uhmm… I don’t need that towel anyways.”

Giving a nervous smile to the young lady, she walked around the young girl and started heading towards the bank once more.
"Well, good bye then!" She said, while obviously struggling to walk as the top of the log pile intimidatingly wobbled.

Zarafinn shrieked, pushing the logs off of herself with some work so that she could stand once more. Now she was wet and muddy. Her soaked hair had a coating of dust and her tunic had a visible mark of tree bark where a log had rolled over her.
She glared at the woodcutter.

"Oh Guthix!" NY looked down at the rather small female who was bury’d under the majority of Ny’s logs, Channel watched as a good three or four logs rolled down the street, tripping a rather large woman, who shrieked before dropping two baskets full of produce. Ny cringed as she fell to the wet, grimey ground. After so, looking back at the muddy teenager that she practically crushed, who was now on her feet, and scowling at her.

"Oh err…" She gave a cheesy smile, "Sorry about that," Her eyebrows folding into a concerned expression, "Are you okay?"

Not knowing Common but not wanting to use too much Infernal, Zarafinn growled at the woman, barking a few short Infernal words out at her.

Picking up her belongings and paying for the (now slightly damaged) produce, the Loarnic girl spun on her heels and walked off through the market. Her leg hurt from where a log ran her over; that would be bruised in the morning.
